An eventful weekend...

Last weekend was quite happening for me..On Saturday,I went to Stanley Park in the afternoon with a group of Singaporean friends and one Hongkonger.It was pretty fun actually..we all brought food to have a picnic in the park.Been ages since I last went for a picnic!It is really common for people here to sit on any grass patch and read,sun tan,eat,or just chill with friends.The grass here is really clean,not like Singapore's grass where half the time there are ants crawling all over.We had sandwiches,loads of potato chips,bananas,apples and orange juice.Sat by the lake and all..I enjoyed everyone's company..
Later we rented bicycles and rode around the park which was surrounded by water.The scenery as usual was amazing..
One of the best things that happened over the weekend was that my cousin Teresa came by to visit me!=) She was touring the Rockies before this so now that she is back in Vancouver,she is gonna stay with me for a week before she leaves for her university in Santa Cruz.We drove to Granville island with her guy friends(altogether there were 6 of us) on Sunday.Basically there is nothing much there except food and art galleries. There were also many street performances going on which were pretty entertaining.I am so glad that a family member is here with me now..Time for more bonding and girlie talks!Love u cousin!muak muak!
