Today marks the one month of my stay in Vancouver!I've been busy busy busy this whole week..had countless project meetings..goodness! Decided to give myself a break last night by going ice-skating in school! You got me right, UBC has not one but three ice-skating rinks!! Ice-hockey is really a big thing here so the players need many rinks for that. But only one of the rinks is open to public and at specific hours. We decided to go at night at 830pm so that everyone could make it but we could only skate for one hour, but it was fun anyway.And I met my sec sch friend stella lok!!That was the best part of the ice-skating experience--catching up with an old friend. I couldn't believe it when I saw her at first cos I thought I knew almost all the Singaporeans who are here on exchange. So I was like damn happy when I called her and she acknowledged me..=)

Of cos, it's been about 7 years since I last ice-skated so I was super scared of falling down and making a fool out of myself. But the gd thing was Stella held my hand most of the time and we skated round the rink countless times while we updated each other about stuff.It was real nice. I'm glad I decided to go ice-skating afterall cos something gd did indeed come out of it.


I'm quite happy that I'm more or less done with all my projects!I'm gonna finish most of it up tomorrow morning and then give myself a treat at some ktv place with mabel,joe,chee kian,yanxiang,christine,cass and daniel!Yearning for some singing man! And Joe can teach me how to sing Cantonese songs since he's from Hongkong!Looking forward to it!The only bad thing is I'll be studying during the weekend for my food module test and finishing up another food assignment by monday.Had to go to the supermarket with Chee kian and Yan xiang just now to check out the extent of Canada's food system by looking at the products they sold at the supermarket.Then gotta write an essay about it. Pretty interesting huh?

Guess what!i'm taking Salsa beginner's course here too, together with a few of them. Decided to try out something new so why not salsa since it looks so fun and its cheap! $4 per lesson for 11 weeks.I went for the first class today and it was great!They really teach you how to shake your butt like crazy man..haha...hopefully that can help keep me in shape too!=)

Hey gf, I'm so in love with the photo that we took at dbl o that I am going to put it up on my blog too!=)We all look absolutely stunning in this photo..ha..I think it's one of the best photos we've taken actually..I love you babes!!(including all those not in the photo like charm, weiyun and lisa!)
