Dinner on Sunday at Stephos..
    - Wednesday, October 19, 2005

Anne and I finally met up with our Japanese friend Yoko whom we got to know during our Rockies trip. She brought us to this famous Greek restaurant in downtown Vancouver called Stephos. We've been wanting to treat Yoko to a meal since she cooked Japanese curry for us the other time so finally we did manage to arrange a suitable timing! It was a good thing that we went there early cos as soon as we went in, a long queue formed outside the restaurant. This place is famous for its quality of food and its incredibly cheap pricings.

We took such a long time to decide on what we wanted cos everything looked so good..ha..in the end Anne and I shared chicken souvlaki - 2 skewers crammed end-to-end with thick juicy chicken chunks, large amount of moist rice pilaf, quarters of roast potatoes, greek salad with lots of feta cheese, pita bread and tzatziki dip - all for $9.95CAD..ha..really a good deal! Yoko ordered some lamb platter and it was also the same price! She could not finish her food so she had to takeaway a huge portion of it.On top of that, we even ordered meatballs..too much food..ha..but guess we did not regret it.=)I think I am definitely going back there for more Greek food man!
