it's been a long long day...

It's the weekend!!I finally could wake up later than usual..at like 1030am? hehe..Our group headed down to horseshoe bay and lighthouse park, both so awfully far. Had to change two buses to get to waterfront station then took a seabus to North Vancouver then took another two buses to get to horseshoe bay. There was nothing much there so took another bus to lighthouse park. I think we spent more time on the bus than at the places of interest itself man...but nevertheless it was fun!! I think our group spent the whole bus journey gossiping like crazy, even at dinner also gossip and gossip..haha...I like it!=) There were 7 of us, 4 guys and 3 girls and all of us contributed to the gossiping!haha..really funny..I got to know Christine even better after today and she's really damn fun to be with!haha..She's so cute and full of exciting things to talk about. I really love this group I am hanging out with right now...Beautiful scenery as usual and great company...What more could I ask for?
After that we all went for dinner at Wendy's, this burger place that opened in Singapore but closed down soon after. But we all agreed that the burgers they serve are really good!The meals came with either baked potato, fries, salad or soup and a drink. So much variety..so good...=)We also encountered this beggar at Wendy's. This middle-aged lady who wore thick makeup kept focusing her attention on us instead of the other people at the restaurant and she kept going on and on about how she was schizophrenic and she asked for 34-45cents to buy some food. She was also digging into the dustbin for food. The staff at Wendy's asked her to leave and she was like arguing with that person. She mentioned that though she was mentally unsound, she did not do drugs, or go into prostitution and we should treat her better. There are so many of them here in Canada. Chris just gave her 50cents to chase her away and we ended up talking about beggars in Singapore. Chee Kian told us so many stories of such people at Bedok. I didnt know that so many of these people are also found in Singapore, especially Bedok!
Another day quickly passed just like that..By the time we got back, it was already late at night...Another good day...
