Mass on the 1st of November...

Yesterday was All Saints Day and it was good thing that my dad sent an email to remind me about it or else I would have totally forgotten about it. My Chicago trip made me realize so many things and I was pretty unhappy about some of them so I was hoping to receive some healing from God. I missed Mass last Sunday as I was in Chicago so when I found out it was All Saints Day, I walked over to St. Ignatius Church which is near UBC and I was really lucky to be in time for the 12.05pm Mass. It's a strange thing that they only have one Mass for that day considering that it was a day of obligation, it's as though they do not stress too much on days of obligations. I felt alot better after spending some time during Mass reflecting and praying. It is no doubt that God is constantly watching over me and has kept me safe from harm in Chicago. I guess sometimes I really take Him for granted, turning to Him only when I am in a bad shape. But I am really grateful for His presence throughout and I thank all my family and friends again for praying for me throughout my Chicago trip.
