Movie night...

I had a project meeting this afternoon till about 5plus and on the way back I met my two Japanese friends Sae and Yui and they were going for dinner. So I joined them for dinner at Vanier as well and we decided to go watch the 9.30pm movie "March of the Penguins" which was showing at the Student Union Building. It was my first time watching a movie on campus..It's unbelivable man..there is a cinema in school and it only costs $3.50 a ticket!

Although the movies shown may be outdated ones, it's still not a bad deal I think. At least they are showing decent movies like Fantastic Four, Batman Begins, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Mr and Mrs Smith(which I did not manage to catch in Singapore and I still did not manage to catch it here..damn!).Oh well, hope they do show more movies that I missed in Singapore like Cinderella Man..totally my kind of movie..tragic but meaningful..I was already tearing when I saw the snippets of it..Can't imagine me watching the whole movie...

Anyway the movie "March of the Penguins" was a different movie I guess from what I would normally watch but still it was quite a good change. I really gained in knowledge about the lives of penguins..there were happy and funny moments when the penguins would clumsily fall down while walking as well as sad moments when the baby penguins die because of the cold or lack of food.

After a nourishing period of deep-sea feeding, the penguins pop up onto the ice and begin their march across the frozen tundra of Antarctica in a single file towards their mating ground...
