Salsa night at Atlantis Club...

I finally had my first clubbing experience in Vancouver! Since we have been taking basic Salsa lessons for quite a few weeks now, our instructor told us about this Salsa event at the Atlantis Club and he could bring us in for free! There was an advanced Salsa lesson for the first hour which was way too difficult for us beginners to pick up but it really provided the motivation to learn Salsa well in future..ha..

After that, it was just caual dancing for everyone..and it was then that we could practise what we've learnt in class...And Mabel got asked by a guy for a dance..wow!She's a really good dancer man..hehe...shakes her butt so naturally!=) Cass got asked too but she rejected the guy..oh no..poor thing..haha...Luckily no one asked me cos I really suck at Salsa!hah..At the beginning I tried dancing according to the steps I have learnt in class, but eventually I just ended up dancing anyhow..=)

Many of the people there were so good at Salsa!But I had fun still I guess, dancing with CK, YX and Daniel!ha...Dan, Selena and Chris do not take Salsa classes with us but they attempted dancing anyway...so yeah the more the merrier!Think it was a pretty happening night for us...on a tuesday night somemore..ha...And everyone was really dressed up...YX wore black shirt and pants and leather shoes with his leather jacket, CK, Dan and Joe all wore shirts and Joe even put on a tie!For the girls, Mabel wore a nice lacy spag top and Chris, Selena and Cass wore shirts..All of them looked so good!I was definitely the worst dressed there..hah...Guess what I wore? A plain T-shirt!Goodness!!ha...but I did not have any nice clubbing tops with me so I had no choice..haha...

But overall, it was a pretty fun night...and at least I can go back to Singapore knowing that I've been to a club at least once before!Not that loserly anymore...hehe...I only took very few photos..so shall upload more when I get them from the rest...And I think my camera lenses are dirty le..dunno why there are like dots all over the first photo below...
