Welcome to the University of British Columbia...
- Monday, November 21, 2005
I just realised that I haven't posted many pictures of UBC since I came here...It's always pictures of other attractions in Vancouver so I guess it's now time to show you this beautiful campus(although I'm so used to the place that it fails to amaze me already..hehe)..but I think u guys will still find it rather pretty..
Pictures of when I first came...
UBC Bookstore..Notice that it's still very sunny with clear blue skies..
 The Rose Garden
The biggest rose I've ever seen...
Squirrels, a common sight at UBC
 With the Canada flag
 Overlooking the mountains...
 Flowers in full bloom still..
 Wrack(Nude)Beach next to UBC
Photos taken in October and November...Fall begins and leaves start to change colour and fall off and flowers start to wither and die...I was fortunate that on the day I decided to go round campus to take photos, the weather was pretty good so I was really thankful for that...
Walter C. Koerner Library - the place I'm stuck at if I have to find journal articles for my term papers.

The name of the building changed as it was used for filming purposes..Parts of the movie called 88minutes featuring Al Pacino was filmed at UBC!Pretty neat stuff..
Notice the changes... Main Library with a clock tower in August...
 Main Library in October
That's the same clock tower amidst the thick fog in November...
Pictures of more trees and fallen leaves...

 When teachers went on strike...

 Along Main Mall
The building where I have my Organizational Behavior classes.

MacMillan Building - where I attend my Food Science lectures.

Behind me is Buchanan Building where I attend lectures for two of my Psychology courses.
A scenic picture, with the Canadian flag and the mountains behind me...
 A pretty fountain..
A photo with the monument of I dunno who..
Sitting under the tree beside Scarfe building where I attend my Educational Psychology classes.
UBC International House - the place where I attend Salsa lessons and other activities for international students.
Views of the mountains in October...

Views of the mountains in November..usually it's really cloudy and you can't really see the mountains, but on this particular rare sunny day, I managed to catch a shot of the snow-capped mountains...simply awesome...

Dark and gloomy weather in November...Pictures of the fog and bare trees...

In the background is Kwak House - my hostel...

I live on the highest floor - the 6th floor.
The corridor leading to my room
Nowadays the sun will set by 4pm...which is a really bad thing..I have to get up early everday,if not I won't get to see the sun much at all and the day will just seem super short...so yeah..now I know why winter can put some people in a depressed state..
