My last weekend in Vancouver...Team B's dinner...

After my last paper on Saturday, we all headed down to Auntie Janet's place for dinner. She is another of Selena's many aunties and she kindly invited all 10 of us to her place for dinner. There was laksa, dumplings and other Japanese dishes that she bought like my favourite teriyaki beef and tempura.
Dinner was good but as Yanxiang says...the company is far more important and it's the company that makes all things beautiful...so the highlights for that night were:
1) Joe's powerpoint presentation.He stayed up all night to do powerpoint slides for our group.So sweet!!Before that, he sort of gave a small speech about how we spent many happy times together and showed photos of the many places we visited as a group as well. He's the only one who's gonna stay for one more semester and I guess we'll all gonna miss him since we hang out so much together!Hope he will meet nice Singaporean friends next semester too!And I can't wait for him to come visit us next year!

2) Chris, Cass and Selena's powerpoint presentation.The 3 of them also stayed up till the next morning 8am to finish up their 400plus slide powerpoint presentation. I was really touched by the effort the 3 of them put in, like adding cute little captions in the photos,putting up amusing videos of us(eg. the ktv competition videos),and lastly recording the songs written by Dan and Yanxiang and sang by Mabel, Cass, Chris and Selena.
3) Mabel's presents to us!She gave us personalised Santa Claus hats with our nicknames on it,candy canes,a small cute present and a christmas card,...sadly my hat had the word "bimbo"..dun think I will dare to wear it out man..haha..We all took individul shots with each other to remember our last official dinner in Vancouver...Look below to see what the rest of them had on their hats...=)
4) More cards and presents...Chris gave us a bag of chocolates and candies and a card and ck gave us a card too...

Overall it was an amazing night of fun, laughter and the wonderful company of each other..We've gone through four whole months together in a foreign country and these four months have definitely strengthened our friendship bonds.Although we're going back to our separate lives soon, I believe that we'll always recognize that we were and will always be part of Team B and hold all these memories close to us...
