I dread turning 22...but it was a good birthday for me..

I woke up at like 6am in the morning of 9th of February cos I wanted to see my parents since I would not be home till late at night that day. Also, I knew that I would take 10years to decide what to wear on this special day of mine..haha...yeah I'm vain...and I know that.=) After a super long time, I finally settled on what to wear as you can see from the following photos.By the way, Natasha, Gerrie and Gavin shared to get me the necklace that I was wearing.=)
Though I only had class at 4pm that day, I decided to go school really early so that I could get some work done.But what I was most looking forward to was meeting Jon Lau for lunch! I was really damn excited la..dunno why also since I just saw him last sunday. It's so wrong to openly express my feelings on my blog but I guess he does not read my blog so frequently anymore so it's ok I hope...
Though we only spent like 45mins having lunch together, those 45mins were awesome!I was contented just chatting with him about nothing significant at all.Being around him just makes me feel so secure all over again. Though being together is nowhere near possible for us, I am happy that we are still good friends and I take every meeting with him as a gift from God.
Then at 1pm, I went off to the Arts Corner to meet my cousin Teresa, and I was only a few steps away from that area when my cousin saw me and ran towards me to stop me from proceeding on. It was really funny cos from where I was standing, I could see my cousin Angie with her bf Jason and many of the CSS people and they were trying to set up the candles on the birthday cake. She was like" Che Mali, why you come so early? I thought I told you to come at 1.10pm?" Later on, I then realized that I missed seeing her msg so there I was way too early for the celebration. After everything was settled, I walked to the table with the cake and everyone sang the birthday song for me and passed me presents and cards. I really love all my friends and I wanna thank my cousin Teresa for organizing everything and making my birthday so memorable.The only sad thing was that my two good friends Alexis and Benjy came minutes after the cake-cutting and so they missed out on that. Alexis was so disappointed man..haa...shit I should have came later la...haha...

After my 4pm Vietnamese class, I headed down town to meet my favourite babes and the guys for dinner+drinks.Ate at my favourite Wisma foodcourt and then we went Mos Burger for drinks. We were laughing at how our definitions of drinks were so different though I think I laughed the loudest then.heh.Lisa even thought when Charm suggested Mos, she thought it was M.O.S.haha..but I think she said it as a joke which I thought was really funny.In the end after a round of ice milk tea at Mos Burger, we went to my favourite place-Liquid Kitchen for more drinks!!

Overall, though my birthday this year was nothing of a big scale, I had an awesome time with all my loved ones. I'd like to thank everyone who was there with me during my birthday celebrations and also those who were not there but whom sent me sweet sms to wish me Happy Birthday. Just knowing that you guys remembered my birthday is real comforting to me and even though I dread the thought of being 22, having friends and cousins like you all just makes everything seem so much better...heh...love ya all!!
