My 22nd birthday party...

I'm gonna turn 22 in 4 days time...sigh...that's really old man..but I had a small joint celebration with Angeline today at my place.It was a far cry from the huge celebration I had for my 21st birthday last year..Time really flies and memories of what happened at my 21st birthday are still vivid in my mind. I was really tired out preparing for it,and I invited so many relatives and friends and I nearly died making the powerpoint slides for everyone..haha..but oh well, I enjoyed the process and how everything turned out in the end.
But this year, it was a really quiet party. I only invited some of my bestest babes and a few guy friends(mostly boyfriends of my galfrens). This year, I was really excited to see someone..and that's right, that person is none other than Jon. After all the things that happened, I am so glad that he still took the time to come to my party and he even bought me a present which I really like..I really do appreciate it. He keeps saying that he's been really tired of late and I do hope that he will get enough rest in the days to come.
It was a potluck party so here's what everyone brought:
Meilian - fried tofu and some fishcake looking thing.
Lisa - nuggets and jellies
Charmaine - pasta
Rebecca - Bee hoon enough to feed 40 people when we only had like 13 people. Too much too much!
Becks boy - This is even funnier. He brought packets of chips like for 50 people..in the end we each brought home one packet.
Tim - Supposedly potato salad but looks and taste like a bad version of mashed potato cos it's extremely sweet, like a dessert cos Tim's maid added condensed milk to it!!
Unique taste I must say...haha...but thanks for bringing that anyway!!

Lastly, me and angel bought ice-cream cake from Swenson's for ourselves and ordered pizzas too...Cake was good and pizza had like maybe 3 slices left so not so much food was wasted this time round.
After chatting over lunch, we started a game of pictionary of which obviously the girls won cos we are so much better at drawing and guessing than the all guys group..haha...Then some of us went to play ban lak while the rest of us took photos!!Ha..I realize that what I just type sounds like some secondary school essay man...How come I can't be chim in my postings no matter how hard I try eh...

I guess turning 22 is no big deal anymore..it just means I am one step closer to the working life. Well I just have to accept that I am growing older and hopefully wiser and more positive about life as well.
A big thank you to all those who turned up for our party and especially those who brought food. I had a good time and hope u guys did too. Of course I have to thank my family as well, especially my mum who helped me get utensils,cleared up the mess we made and cutting the cake for everyone to eat.
