A final gathering with my viet classmates...

After my Vietnamese exam on 2nd of May, 7 of us headed down to harbourfront for dinner!It was probably the last time everyone was gonna meet as Steven will be heading back to Vancouver soon. Christian, Michelle and Robin will be going out to work, and only Han Wern and Kok Wee will continue taking Level 3 Vietnamese. So it would probably take a lot of organizing and effort to meet up with everyone again...sigh...but oh well, we had fun during classes and lunch on Fridays!It's the first time I have lunch with the same group of people every Friday without fail..the usual pple being Christian, Kok Wee, Steven, Robin and me!Sometimes Michelle would join us, but Han Wern was not in the same Friday class as us so he doesn't join us...so I was quite surprised he also agreed to joining us for dinner that day. I truly enjoyed the semester with them and always looked forward to going for Viet class.

Thanks people for being a special part of my life this semester...=) Looking forward to meeting up with all of u soon!Maybe we can arrange a class trip to Vancouver to look for Steven...and I am sure I too can bring u all around..since I've spent four months there before..haha...

Michelle: A really sweet and nice girl friend to talk to and always willing to help...She offered to bring my japanese friend Yoko around the other time even though we did not know each other that well then..Gonna miss her man!

Han Wern: My oral partner for this semester..think I screwed things up for you man..hahah..he is a really hardworking guy..and he is super good at viet!So guess I wasn't a great partner for you cos I kept making so many mistakes throughout the oral!haha..

Kok Wee: He never fails to make me laugh and he doesn't even think he is funny!haha..I will always remember you as the one who always give examples of "Bishan" during class cos that is your favourite place to shop and you live there..and your favourite phrase of "the a" in viet..

Too bad I did not manage to take a picture with Christian cos he left early, but Christian is really tall, nice guy, and I have tues class with him and our teacher Thay Minh. He was the one who termed us as EM3 students who need more attention that's why having class alone with Thay Minh is a good idea..cos then he will proceed at a super slow pace for us..sorry Christian if it seemed as though I keep laughing at your pronounciation during class yeah..I wasn't really laughing at that per se but rather the way u laughed at yourself too..

Next up is Robin:This guy always takes charge of planning outings and stuff..He was the one who brought me, Yoko and steven to Geylang to eat and has many crazy ideas. He is the lao jiang in the group so he knows the best places to eat,where to see prostitutes from the different countries, has alot of ideas about relationships and flings, teaches Steven all the singlish slangs etc etc...

Last but not least, Steven: A true blue Canadian, always like chatting with him about UBC and Vancouver, a really easy to talk to guy. And he treated me to Vietnamese food that day at Plaza Singapura.Thanks so much dude!I will definitely miss u when u're gone...
