It's finally a Friday!!

Yesterday was dress casual day so we all could go to work in jeans and tshirts and the theme was FIFA Some of the guys did follow the theme and wore jerseys and stuff but the girls just dressed casually la..I like Fridays cos of the easy-going dress code and also cos it means I can go out till late since no work the next day!!=)

Arranged to meet gf after her work at LV to have dinner,in the end there was a change of plans so I met Mel Dragon and her friend Darryl for dinner at Bugis Junction instead so I could get my recommendation letter written by my prof from her.Thanks for ur help Mel!!

While waiting for her, I met Kok Wee my viet classmate!!So happy!!He was wearing shirt and pants and had a jacket with him..a far cry from his usual tshirt and shorts sleeping kind of clothes in school.So when I saw him, I immediately just laughed and told him he looked so different!Hopefully we can all meet up next week for dinner or something with the rest of my other classmates...

After dinner,Mel and Darryl went to Union Square, while I went to town to meet Angel and Lisa...accompanied them for dinner and then drinks at mos burger...chatted quite abit about stuff and then we left two hours later...angel and lisa headed for home while I took a bus to my favourite place...Boon Keng..or more specifically Kenny's house to watch the first match of the World Cup!!

It was super exciting la the game..kenny bet like $20 for 1.5 goals or sth and I think we all got so excited that when a goal was scored,we all screamed like crazy..ok..guess I screamed the loudest la..haha..at first the score was Germany 3,Costa Rica 1 so we were damn happy when Costa Rica scored another goal making the score 3-2. Cos that meant Kenny might win his bet and treat all of us to supper!!haha..but no..yi chang huan xi yi chang kong..I think in the last 7 mins or sth, Germany scored another goal...so the score became 4-2...which meant he lost his $20 just like that..Sigh..no more free supper for us..heh..

After the match,headed to Geylang for supper..we ordered tau hui,you tiao,xiao long bao, carrot cake and some pork floss thingy...it was really really gd except for the xiao long bao which was so tiny and super not worth it!And thanks to Gaston for sending me back home last night or rather this morning at 4am...Looking forward to more world cup sessions with my jiemeis!!=)
