Mid week!

Sadly no mambo-ing this wednesday night again...but at least I was out!!haha..After work, since Chen Shun (a fellow intern at UOB)was driving down to Orchard so I could take a lift from him since I was going that way as well..Shiok man! Reached town super early at 7, only to find out that Maggie would be late by half an hour. She msged me to say that she can only meet at 8.30pm cos she missed her bus..So in the end, I got off at Centrepoint to go visit Felicia at La Prairie where she was working at.Then think I spent quite a long time just sitting there and chatting with her..She was super bored man..when I got there, she looked as though she had been stoning the whole day.

Later on, I left to go buy food for myself since Maggie's mum asked her to have dinner at home..so walked all the way to Far East to buy the zha ji pa from shilin!!! All Felicia's fault!Make me so gien to eat it..it was like my first time trying it and it tasted pretty decent la.At least it kept me full...=)I also bought one for Fel and then took bus back to Centrepoint, walked around abit more and then Maggie called me up. Our original plan was to go acid bar to chill out but when Mag and I went there,it seemed really crowded already since there was a big screen telecasting the world cup and there was also a female singer giving a life performance during the commercial breaks..And it turns out that the singer was formally my senior from IJ..she has a super powerful voice and an amazing talent at playing the keyboard..So we booked a table for 9.30 so that Felicia could join us after work...

Meanwhile, me and Maggie went over to Mos Burger to share an iced milk tea and while I bought Mos burger fries for Felicia's dinner,Maggie went over to Centrepoint to buy her favourite twister fries from Macs..Then we met back at Acid bar just to be in time to get our table..Later on when Fel and Kenny and Terence came,the waitress noticed all the food that we smuggled into acid bar and reminded us that no outside food was allowed...Shit la..did not hide the food so no choice, the three of us girls went outside to finish up the food..and it was at this time that as Fel passed Mag her fries, all the fries from the fries fell to the ground..It was hilarious man..especially when so many people saw the mess we created!We immediately hid behind the wall while Maggie laughingly finished up the few more fries that was left in the plastic bag...

In the end, we felt so pathetic so walked over to Mos Burger to finish up the Mos Burger fries that was left..and then headed back to acid bar for our extremely expensive drinks..I am not a huge fan of alcohol and I would much rather drink ice milk tea than the Malibu pineapple that I ordered..haha..but no choice, each person had to order a min of one drink so yeah..Stayed on to watch the whole of the Spain versus Ukraine..A really great match with gorgeous players and exciting shots!Also, we were enjoying the songs that the singer was singer during the breaks...There was this part where she invited people to get up on stage to sing whatever songs they wanted..First up was this girl who wasn't that great a singer la but bearable I guess..and the best thing was she also wanted to sing another song with her friend. This time, it was out of hand man..became unbearable so much so that all of us were just wishing that the original singer would take over the microphone..

Next up was this ang moh guy who was probably in his 40s..and he sang "this crazy little thing called love" and surprisingly he can really sing quite well..everything was in tune with the keyboard playing...so everyone kept cheering for him...I think we wanted to go sing too but too shy la..haha.at the end we were just saying how we shall go back to pick a song each and practise for it..so next time can go back acid bar to perform!!=)hahah..dream on man...

Super tired just blogging about this..need to get my beauty sleep soon considering that I slept really little the past few nights..So glad that tomorrow is a Friday!! Looking forward to retail therapy @ Bugis Village and chilling out at a new pub with my cousin tomorrow!!Shall just leave you with a few photos of that night...
