One hell of a week....

I am beginning to feel the pressure to get things done..countless readings which I really try my best to read before each seminar but sadly, it just accumulates and I just find I have more things to do with each day. And it does not help that the midterm break is coming up soon which means ALL my deadlines are nearing...=(

But here are some of the highlights of the past week that made it so much more bearable...

Skipped my yoga lesson on Monday to catch a movie at Plaza Singapura with my jiemeis(Maggie, Felicia and Kenny). We watched "The Devil Wears Prada" which in my opinion is really good cos it's my kind of movie la..Great Fashion,Gorgeous Girls,Wonderful sights of New York and Paris, and of course splendid acting by Meryl Steep, who acted as Miranda Priestly...who was thoroughly bitchy in the show..haha..then it was followed by dinner at Cafe Cartel..and a lift home from nice dear Kenny who sent everyone home including Maggie who lives far away in the West!

Me and Feli from a previous time...I have no idea how this background came about...think it's terence's camera or sth...It looks like a wedding frame!

Me and my two besties at cafe cartel...Maggie and Felicia...

Stole this collage from Maggie's blog..but notice that I am almost non-existent in the photos man..haha..keep getting cut off from the photo..We should have gotten the waiter to take a photo of us man..

A more decent photo of the foursome!I can finally be seen...But I foresee Chris commenting on something here...*grinz*

Kenny's brand new manual car...and I was his first passenger somemore..He has improved alot since the first time I sat his car about two weeks ago..=)

On Thursday, I finally went for Cell Group after so long...after Moses's countless attempts to ask me to go for CSS stuff...so yeah I gave in and decided to go for his CG for once..and I must say it was indeed a good choice. It was a really touching session and everyone was very open in their sharings and it made me realize many things...

That we are really blessed in so many aspects...blessed just to be alive, to be able to use all four limbs and all five senses, have good health and have family and friends around me...God has always been with me all my life...and he has given me so many things which I take for granted most of the time...It is only with sessions like these that it allows me to take a moment off my busy schedule to reflect upon God's greatness and most importantly His great love for me. I truly felt spiritually renewed after CG that night...

And after CG, we all headed to Clementi for dinner...Company was great...managed to catch up with a few friends whom I have drifted apart from like Alexis and Greg...and to make new friends as well..like Victor, Mallory and Edwin who even gave me a lift back home cos he lives in Bishan..Best!!=)

Today which is a Friday, I received a compliment from my classmate in my Psychology Honours class...haha..We were talking casually and she just said "You have a very good dress sense", and I looked stunned for awhile before I replied,"Huh?really?" Then she said," Yeah, no one told you that before?" I was thinking about it and I told her no...Come to think of it, I don't recall anyone telling me my dress sense was good explicitly. I mean sometimes people just comment that "Hey your top is nice or your shoes are nice" but not a general comment like "You have a good dress sense".So guess that compliment just took me by surprise and made me a very happy girl for the rest of the day...haha...

Looking forward to a weekend of more mugging...like real...
