About my week again....

This week was pretty manageable despite having one presentation,2 term papers and 1 quiz.Guess it must have been because I did my stuff during the midterm break, so it was not like I had to rush for any deadlines at the last minute or sth..so really glad that things just worked out for me and I am not burnt out or anything...

But what kept me really busy were the other social/church activities la..

Church choir practice on Wednesday night as usual,and Thursday was CG day...Besides the fruitful CG I had on Thursday, another uplifting thing was my crush sent me back!!!haha...hope no one from my CG is reading this man..oops..At first when I got to CG, he was not there.We did the rosary, some reflection and sharings with our groups, so I was pretty much engrossed in it. I also messaged my dad to come pick me up after CG since I won't have a free ride home from my crush..haha..Then at the end of the sharing,I looked around and noticed that he actually came!!!WOO!!Found out he went for some recruitment talk so came late...So I immediately msged my dad not to come anymore...haha..cunning eh!!!=) I was actually contemplating on whether I should have dinner with my CG at first too...and since he came, I was so confirmed gonna have dinner with the rest of my CG mates la...

Alexis and Moses who knew about my crush kept giving me sneaky looks, and they will say stuff like, "ok Marilyn will take that person's car to go Clementi for dinner"...etc etc...Boy I was so scared it was damn obvious la..hehe..but oh well,I had a good dinner with my friends, laughing alot,gossiping and basically just enjoying the fellowship with each other...I really love my CG alot..=).And me and him had a nice chat during the car ride back home too..

But dinner totally ate up the time I had for studying for my quiz on Friday..By the time I got home on Thursday, it was about 10plus so I just studied a bit and Marcus called me so we chatted for quite a while and I was really tired by then,so off to bed I went.comforting myself that I had one hour the next morning to do last min studying for my 9am quiz..

Come Friday, it was a pretty bad day for me man..Got back my assignment with a C+ grade.was utterly disappointed and upset...my lecturer gave me and Ying the same grade cos we sort of had the same answers since we discussed it..and he mentioned something about plagiarism..& he gave us back the assignment before the most difficult quiz I have ever taken!!!DAMN!!Half an hour for two questions was damn short!And I dint have a clue what I was writing about..just copied blindly from my lecture notes, hoping to gain some sympathy marks..SIGH!!This module is really awful man..having some regrets of dropping another module to take this module in the first place...=( Guess I need to approach my lecturer for consultation soon...

Was feeling super depressed initially...but after meeting Alexis and Justin for lunch and messaging Chris and receiving her nice sms back, I felt a whole lot better. Thanks to you guys for your encourgement!!=)And the bad mood sorta faded away at the Russell Peters performance. It was a good show for me since I have not watched any of his downloaded shows before..so laughed like crazy and I guess laughter is really the best medicine to make someone cheer up...so it worked for me...and I was kinda looking forward to meeting my jiemeis at Terence's place to celebrate mid-autumn festival!!

Overall,it was a great night for me, a far cry from that morning that I had...

Shall upload mid-autumn photos and blog about the wonderful moon-less night soon!!

On a separate note, been spending a lot of time with Marcus recently man..Dunno if it's a good or bad thing...Like I saw him last night for rosary at Sharon's place and then supper after that with some friends...so it's 2 nights in a row kinda thing..hmmm..But guess things are fine for now, cos I do not like him yet...and it's really funny how the past seems to return to me now...I remember I used to have quite a major crush on him in my secondary school days and it did not occur to me that I would actually know him personally..so now that we are on talking terms and hanging out quite alot,it's just funny how we eventually came to know each other!haha..I shall just leave it to God's plan la...
