I woke up this morning feeling kind of blue
and I stumbled out of bed
and dragged my feet across the room
Right outside my front door was a rose
and a note that said 'Somebody Loves You'

But out on the street it starts to pour
and before I get soaking wet,
A total stranger runs to give me
the jacket off his back
I turn around to thank him
But he waves me with a smile
I can hardly believe my eyes

I met a good friend for lunch
and we had a delicious meal
But I forgot to bring my wallet
I felt like an imbecile
But she was sweet, she gave me a treat and
Bought me a chicken sandwich
To take home for tea

But out on the street with nothing to eat
A man and his shopping cart go
Travelling to places,
Collecting social graces
I give him my sandwich
and we chatter for a while
I see a rainbow wash over his eyes

I woke up this morning
Feeling kind of new.


The tune and lyrics of this song really rejuvenates me and makes me treasure life and its entirety...makes me look at the people around me in a whole new perspective and most of all, to be contented with what I have...=) Thanks to him for sending me this song...=)

Met up with him yesterday...Treated him to dinner and dessert cos of my excellent results...Wanted to thank him for his constant nagging at me to be focused in my work, and I did listen to him hence the results I suppose...heh..We went for evening mass at Holy Cross first then drove down to someone near Seah Street for some authentic Hainanese food.Food was cheap and SO GOOD!Left the ordering to him since he is a regular customer there, so yeah we ate some pork chop thing and mixed vegetables with fish maw or something like that. I really like it!=)

Then we headed to Siglap Road for Haagen Dazs..haha..No idea why we went all the way there for that too...we wanted to drive down to Siglap and when we saw Haagen Dazs, we just had to eat that!!He has totally influenced me into making HD a part of my life..haha..but too bad they din't have our favourite STRAWBERRY CHEESECAKE!!but nonetheless, dessert was still yummy and just hanging out together makes me a really happy girl..

Macademia Nut Crunch!

Was rather disappointed that my IJ girls outing was cancelled at the last minute due to poor response. I havent met up with them for so so long, totally miss their company and I also wanted to intro him to the rest of them..but oh well, guess I will leave it to next time then!
So TIMO, u are the organizer for the outing next weekend ok???=)Choose a timing where everyone can make it ok???I need some IJ therapy ASAP!!!haha...
