Day 5: Breakfast at Happy Valley+Stanley Beach&Market+ Avenue of Stars+More shopping!
- Thursday, January 11, 2007
On this very morning, we all woke up to the screams of Cass coming from the toilet..Apparently,the water pipe burst and she quickly put on her shirt and rushed out of the toilet without her bottoms on...TK courageously went in to try and stop the water gushing out from the pipe..DAMN DRAMA MAN...haha...Anyway luckily most of us bathed the previous night before except for Sel..so she had to use water from the pail and slowly wash her hair etc...She took a really long time in the toilet considering how long and thick her hair is...
After the whole episode, we went to meet Charles and Yu Qing at Happy Valley for breakfast/lunch since it was already like 12plus in the afternoon.
Our not so nice black pepper fried udon....Looks like worms from here...We also shared egg tart, bo luo bao and Chris and I drank iced milk tea!!SHIOK!!!
Yummy snacks like egg tarts, bo luo bao...
 The Hong Kong Jockey Club..
The famous racecourse at Happy Valley...Think Happy Valley..think Zhen Qing..our jiemeis' favourite HK drama serial!
At the beautiful beach at Stanley...wow at the following pictures!!!

A close up shot of the luxurious apartments by the beach...
Enjoying water sports in the vast sea....
A family building a sandcastle together!
 Us and the beautiful beach...
 The three babes!!=)
The last of my shoes on this beach..cos after the end of Day 5, the green part came off so I threw away that pair of shoes...still remember I bought it from HK from my previous trip for only $4!
 I love Joe!!!
I love Chris and I wanna stick my face on hers!
At Stanley Market!Me and Chris took such a long time to bargain and try on shoes in one of the shops of which the two shopkeepers were so unfriendly!!!In the end only Chris bought the shoes after such a long time!!
 A street sign...
 Me in the streets...
Haagen Dazs in Stanley Market! What a contrast!
 Delifrance too!
Chris trying on sunglasses...An artistic shot that TK took again!
Some significant building which I can't really remember the name...Charles said this building was originally located somewhere else, but they reconstructed the same building with the design at this current place and demolished the old building...
This is another side of the building..I think it's really quite a pretty building and I am quite sure they filmed a lot of TVB drama serials here too cos it looks vaguely familiar...
The pillars from the old building are now put beside the new building for remembrance sake I guess...
The beautiful water scenery just beside the building..It was sunset by then...so using the sunset mode to take the sunset was such a pleasure!=)
 More scenic pictures...simply breathtaking!!

Me and the background without sunset mode..
It was getting dark by then...
and by the time we got to the pier, it was night time already...
The tallest building in HK!The International Financial Centre!
Shots taken while on the ferry ride to Tsim Sha Tsui..
It was a rather bumpy ride so it was difficult to get clear shots..like this one which CK took for us..He was really weird la..cos I didn't ask him to take photo for us, he just happily offered and he took such a bad shot! When I asked him to take again, he became unfriendly and refused!!What a guy man!
Upon reaching Tsim Sha Tsui, we rushed through dinner cos we wanted to catch the light display show at 8pm..We literally ran towards the Avenue of Stars to catch the show...and here are just some shots of the brightly lit buildings...

The only decent photo that night was from TK's camera of course! At least u can see the lasers from here...
But sadly the show was hugely disappointing..haha..we were like so bored throughout the show...so we later made our way to Granville Street for some shopping.
To take this photo, I missed out on Chris's and Yanying's 9/10 guy...haha..While waiting for the rest to come, we were busy sitting along the streets and rating the guys that walked past..the silly things we do man..but oh well,I just had to take the photo la..Granville really brings back lots of memories for me..cos I still remember 2 years ago when my family visited Hong Kong, we shopped like crazy at Granville Street..I termed it my favourite street somemore..but this time round, maybe we were all low in our finances so I only bought one pair of shoes.
So we all unanimously agreed to head down to Ladies Street for our FINAL ATTEMPT at buying more cheap stuff...and yeah most of us bought quite a lot of things..Only Joe, CK and Sel went to Macs to wait while the rest shopped..I definitely went back happy on the second last day of our trip!=)
