The first part of my 23rd birthday....=)

I thought turning 23 was the worst thing that can happen to you cos firstly, being 23 is freaking old, and secondly I am like one of the first few among my friends to turn 23!And it does not help that Chris and Selena keep reminding me that I am OLD!!!
So of course I decided against having a big celebration...ha..and just wanted to have a simple dinner with Feli,Maggie and Kenny on Wednesday night since it has been a long time since I met them. And of course I wanted to meet Marcus on Thursday night after his class so we could count down to my actual birthday!
Friday was a horrible day for me cos I had an entire day of lessons...and all I was looking forward to was spending a quiet Saturday with him, the birthday gathering at my place with my IJ babes on Sunday and of course the birthday surprise by Team B on Monday, of which Chris keeps telling me to bring extra clothings along...cos it will be very surprising!!!So of course I was really excited to spend three days with three different groups of people...
BUT then...none of the plans above came true...u will find out why in my next post, as most of my friends already know cos they were all part of the GRAND MASTER plan...
So I shall begin with the Wed night dinner with my jiemeis...
We ate at Miss Clarity Cafe at Purvis Street...a super girley place to hang out...

Just when I thought that we would just sit behind his van, have ice-cream and chit-chat till it was my birthday, when the clock struck 12, he said he had something for me...so I assumed it would be a present.He went outside his van and dug into his box...I thought something which he made for me totally crumbled into pieces so he had to mend it..but later on, when it was ready, it was none other than two slices of cake from Bakerzin! Was really quite unexpected...haha..cos I thought I would get a present!I even told him earlier that I don't think anyone would get a cake for me...so now I have two slices of yummy cake in front of me..almost like a wish come true..=)

But after blowing out the candles and eating the cake, I even asked him "eh where is my present"? haha..super demanding girlfriend right?? He said he will pass it to me later on when we meet...But nonetheless, I was really quite happy...
On Friday afternoon, met Alexis, Jon and Carol(Jon's gf) for a birthday lunch at Macs...Alexis got me a slice of cake(again!)and she passed me a present which she,Jon and Jeff shared...I was really touched by their kind gesture.Though we don't hang out very often with each other,they never forgot my birthday for the past few years since I've known them...so I am happy to have great friends like them!

Basically that was how I spent my birthday on wed, thu and fri of last week..But it was just a start of something BIG that happened on Saturday...Stay tuned to find out more and a look at more photos...
