A rather happening Saturday at no cost at all!!

Caught the play "The Swimming Instructor" at the Action Theatre last Saturday.We had free tickets so went to watch it together with his other friends Fang, Sharon and Jenson..It was a funny and touching tale about the undercurrents of love, lust and life as experienced by a down-to-earth swimming instructor who spoke loads of Hokkien and had a super hot bod, a rich and spoilt girl who wore 3 different pretty bikinis during the show and a go-getting gay advertising executive.

Turned out the actress in the play was Jenson's friend...and since it was NC16, there were some kissing scenes(both between the opposite sex as well as of the same sex). There was this bedroom scene where Jenson was so afraid that his friend had to strip totally, but nah, that didn't happen...ha...

Overall, I felt it was quite a good play with a decent plot and decent acting...But then again, it was free so for that 1.5 hours of entertainment, it was definitely worth it!!!I think I laughed the most actually..it was my kind of humour la..haha...

That's the swimming instructor Guan acted by Lim Wee Hong on the left and Jan acted by Isabella Chiam on the right...Both with super hot bods!So jealous!!!

After the play, the 5 of us headed down to Zouk as we had free invites...I haven't been to Zouk for the longest time man..but the both of us didn't stay that long..we only managed to catch the French band "Nouvelle Vague" LIVE @ Zouk...Though I had no clue of this band at all, I must admit I came out of Zouk feeling very impressed with them..Their songs all had something unique about them, and it was so easy to dance to the catchy tunes they performed...

The two female singers are incredibly talented!!They can just make music by whistling, shaking something which look like a huge bracelet and playing some weird instrument and of course their voices really ring pleasantly in your years man...But one of the singers had really huge eyeballs, so at times when she starts singing, she stares at you with those eyes and it kinda looks as if she is possessed or something..ha..In all, it was indeed a very enjoyable performance...and did I mention it was free too???=)
